2:24 PM Here Comes The Science Bit! Yeah, it's not all monkey bums, Simpsons and comparing my life to bits in movies here, oh no. There's also some learning to be done. For your interest, I present an article from The Economist that was passed on to me by The Pillsbury Dough Boy. It goes along the lines of my general thinking about how who we are is not really who we are, and that we're just an assembly of bits and bobs in the brain (that's the technical term by the way) that work together to create the Self, and how personality is dependant on how the bits and bobs all work (or don't). It's several pages long, so I'd recommend that if -like me- you have a short attention span and can only read blog posts in the amount of time it takes to go for a widdle, then you should allot some time out of your hectic schedules. I'd also recommend you place your elbows on the table, wedge your thumb and forefinger under your chin, raise your eyebrows, and prepare to be interested. Oh, and Tim, there's some Shatner in there for you! Who do you think you are? 1 Who do you think you are? 2 Brainbox Captain Kirk's revenge 1 Captain Kirk's revenge 2 Captain Kirk's revenge 3 Dreamweavers 1 Dreamweavers 2 Dreamweavers 3 As others see us 1 As others see us 2 I think, therefore I am, I think 1 I think, therefore I am, I think 2 Leave a comment ::
