11:53 AM Out of the Mouth of Chufty Like the giant tortoises of the Galapagos annually burying their eggs, or the beeping in the hatch every 108 minutes, some things just seem to happen with perfect regularity. Another to add to the list is Chops, who will come out with some sort of misunderstanding *every* Saturday night. We've come to almost rely on it, and I'm sure if it wasn't for those pearls of wisdom my internal body clock would be thrown completely out of whack; I'd be convinced the night would last several days, much like the perpetual darkness at the North Pole during winter. The latest came last night. During a discussion about the ethics of eating meat, Chops was known to remark: "Well it's ok to kill an animal to eat it's meat. It's better than when people go whaling just to hunt them for their horns" "Horns?!" "Well, tusks, you know what I mean" "Tusks?!" "You know, those long boney things that stick out of their mouths" To incorrectly quote Ross from Friends, "Enough with zoology for the insane, okay?" Leave a comment ::
