History Lesson

Confession time: I'm not all that bright. I know a little about a little, but I don't know a lot about a lot. I'm still surprised I managed to complete a degree in chemistry, I mean I can barely remember the periodic table; hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium, mardi, mercredi, elf, zwolf.. erm.. Gavrillo Princip? In fact that's pretty much all I remember from 15 years in education. Anyone who knows the song 'Lounger' by Dogs Die in Hot Cars should know what I'm talking about.

Not paying much attention in class may have been bad for me, but luckily television is on hand to give me a helping...um... hand. And thanks to Big Train I now know more about Florence Nightingale apart from bandages, lamps and Crimea (wherever the hell THAT is).

SO! Pay attention and get some learning in ya, foo'.
