9:35 PM Word Up, Everybody Say Dear readers. Has it really been 5, 10 or 15 days? If not, please disregard this and get back to work. Distribute token of appreciation and applaud. Sorry, I've got Futurama on the brain. Anyway, following on from raptastic Friday last week (Col reckoned the Erm Erm rapper on the left dug me, cheers for letting me know when it was too late!) we headed back out to London, this time to Baker Street (dyow nyow nyow, da na nyow nyow nyow). We went to the Bok Bar, and lo and behold they had a quiz machine. Being the brainiacs were are we went for it as usual, but it wasn't the Millionaire or Monopoly games that took our fancy, oh no; our new tipple is Word Up! I'm not sure if any of you have played it, but basically it's a grid of letters where you have to make words from touching letters. Simple. Simple but addictive like hell. When we finally left the machine alone and were sitting outside I couldn't concentrate on the conversation as I was too busy seeing letters in my mind and making words. My mind would conjure up CRA and I'd be desperately looking for C and K. In my mind! I'm pretty sure my finger was pointing in the air simulating touching the screen too. I think I need help, or at least the letters I and N to put front of HERO to get extra points. Lebanese food afterwards, pleasant but rather pricey. Instead of bringing out salad they just chucked us a large bowl with a whole lettuce, whole tomato, several chillies and carrot sticks. That much money and they couldn't be arsed to cut it up! I ask you... Anyway, I ordered the Benjamin Franklin; that's pocket bread filled with crunch patties and flavour sauce. I had a raw chilli too in a vain attempt to prove my manliness and almost passed out. The biggest problem with eating Lebanese food is, of course, the next morning you get the Shi'ites.
