2:05 PM Out Of The Mouth Of Mo The man. The legend. The Chufty. The guy who's got more nicknames than a bible's got psalms. On a night out in Camden yesterday... Chufty: I've got a really good memory, even if I say so myself. Doughie: Yes, but the stuff that you choose remember is complete horse manure! Chufty: It's not horse manure, it's good sh*t! Me: Chuff, that was very, very witty! Chufty: What was? He's so funny he doesn't even realise himself! Afterwards, during a bizzare conversation about the Prime Minister... Me: What's Tony Blair's middle name? Chufty (after a thoughtful pause): ....... Sid? I'm not sure why I found this so amusing, but I almost passed out through laughing so hard. ----- A pretty good weekend on the whole (excluding Mo's comedy last night). On Friday after work I got changed and headed to Cross Keys to meet Waddy and give him his belated wedding present (a metal violinist statue, about as practical as a chocolate teapot) and then headed off to First Friday in Islington. I'd never been to one of the monthly club nights before, so we decided to go for it before Col heads off to SA. And what a good decision it was! It was very Frog-esque (not a bad thing) and the tunes were awesome. The crowd especially enjoyed Killing In The Name Of and a remix of When The Sun Goes Down by Arctic Monkeys. We also saw a girl who looked like Rush from Sugar Rush. Speaking of which, that reminds me of the most depressing thing I've ever seen in my life:  Seriously??? That programme sucks! The only downside to going out in London is the inevitable night-bus home, I was pushing almost 24 hours awake once I got home Friday night/Saturday morning. Taking the night-bus TWO nights in a row is even worse, and has left me feeling pretty tired, docile and zombified- the exact preparation I need for starting work again tomorrow! Leave a comment ::
