I must say, I'm slightly disappointed. Whilst you can't argue too much with the top spots, I really don't get why everyone loves Muse so much. I think they're really good, I love songs like Muscle Museum, Unintended and New Born, but I don't think they're LEGENDARY good. Two top 20 spots? Not for me. Ditto Libertines, great band but not THAT good.

Bittersweet Symphony? Give me a break. It might have been amazing back in 1997, but then Dya Know What I Mean by Oasis was uh-may-zing back then.

Paranoid Android? Should have been number one in my opinion.

Motorcycle Emptiness, Good Fortune and One To Another, yup glad they're in there.

Sweet Child of Mine!!! I HATE that song so much it makes me want to stick my head into a bowl of porridge.

Killing In The Name Of being only one place higher than Golden Touch? Something has gone wrong somewhere.

I'd swap the two Jeff Buckley songs around. Why does everyone prefer Grace? Last Goodbye is so much better, the bit where he sings "kiss me, please kiss me" has got to be one of the best bits in a song ever.

Burn Baby Burn shouldn't be there, Goldfinger and Life Less Ordinary are far superior.

And can someone PLEASE tell me how the awful AWFUL chavtastic band Hard Fi have a song that is supposedly better than White Man In Hammersmith Palais by The Clash or Rock n Roll by Led Zep????? Seriously??

Overall, not happy. The good songs that I was pleasantly surprised to see there are far outnumbered by the rubbish ones. There is one major positive I can take away though; the one song I hadn't heard on the list before turned out to be really good. People, if you haven't heard Y Control by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs before then please do so soon, it does for the ears what Kipling cherry bakewell tarts do for the mouth- excite!
